Riding for BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP™, Marquez showcased exceptional skill by overtaking Francesco Bagnaia and pole-sitter Fabio Quartararo, seizing the lead by lap 11 and maintaining it to the finish line.
This victory not only ended his streak of seven runner-up finishes but also propelled him to the top of the championship standings, narrowly edging out his brother Marc by one point. Alex’s win also means the Marquez brothers are the first siblings in MotoGP™ history to both secure wins in the premier class.
