At just 17 years old David Alonso claimed his first Moto3 race win after starting dead last, cutting through a chaotic field. His ride was inch perfect from start to finish, he was in control of the race as he dealt with the incredible chaos behind him. Alonso had riders lining up behind him – with 17th place being less than 2 seconds behind him as they crossed the finish line!   

This was the perfect first win for the Colombian prodigy, showing exactly what he’s capable off. Since that first win, he’s been no stranger to the top step – with a further eight Moto3 wins since that inaugural win in Britain.
