Joan Mir Signed Race-Used Knee Slider – Portuguese GP 2023

Here we have the knee slider used by Joan Mir at the opening round in the Portuguese Grand Prix. The GP has been hosted by Portimao for the last 4 years consecutively. The fast-flowing nature of the circuit means that the racing is very close, and the overtaking is amazing.  

It was a difficult season for Mir, not quite reaching the sensational heights of his World Championship season of 2020, as he was unable to compete at five of the 20 Grand Prix’s due to injury. At the opening round in Portugal, Joan Mir unfortunately was forced to retire in the sprint after an accident. With it all to do in the main race, Joan Mir performed coming from the back to 11th and scoring 5 points.
