Jorge Martin has had an incredibly strong start to the 2024 season, but the weekend at Le Mans was by far one of his strongest.
The Grand Prix de France is held on the Bugatti Circuit at Le Mans, and Jorge Martin excelled. The Spaniard qualified on pole, after setting a time of 1:29.919, the only lap of the whole weekend under 90 seconds. The sprint saw the Prima Primac rider take the first win in the sprint – and then repeat the achievement in the main race. In the main race the Martinator faced a lot of pressure from his championship rivals, Pecco Bagnaia & Marc Marquez. The top three finished all within 0.600 seconds to make it a much closer race than the sprint – but Martin still came out on top!
