The second round of the 2024 season saw Jorge Martin back to his best form.
The Spaniard, Jorge Martin, graduated from Moto2 to the premier class of Motorcycle racing after the 2020 season, making his debut on the Ducati at the 2021 Qatar Grand Prix. After achieving several wins and podium finishes in his opening two seasons, it was clear that Martin was a star of the future.
The 2023 season was close, Martin just missed out on the title, losing out to Italian born Bagnaia in the last round of the season. This season, Martin has come out the gates fired up and ready to make a serious title fight. In qualifying at the Portimao Circuit Jorge Martin managed a time of 1:37.812 - which was good enough to put him on the front row for the races.
This knee slider comes from the left-side of Martin’s leathers during the Portuguese Sprint GP as he took his Prima Primac Ducati to the podium. A perfect lap from the 26-year-old as he went over six tenths faster than his teammate.
