The MotoGP Trophy is an incredible work of art that is made by the famous designer, Marc Garcia Rojals. There is only one original trophy in the world, with every Champion having their plaque and name added to the “Champions Tower” and returning it a year later. When they return it, they are presented with a smaller replica of the original trophy, which is also made by Garcia Rojals.
Kevin Schwantz had a remarkable 1993 season, winning the 500cc Grand Prix World Championship with Suzuki. Known for his aggressive riding style, Schwantz had several wins and podium finishes, consistently performing well throughout the season. His main rival, Wayne Rainey, suffered a career-ending crash at the Italian Grand Prix, giving Schwantz a clear path to the championship.
This was a significant achievement for Schwantz and Suzuki, solidifying his status as one of the sport's greatest riders. He retired in 1995 due to injuries but left a lasting legacy in motorcycle racing, including an induction into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame.
