Replica FIM MotoGP World Championship Trophy Plaque – Valentino Rossi 2004

The MotoGP Trophy is an incredible work of art that is made by the famous designer, Marc Garcia Rojals. There is only one original trophy in the world, with every Champion having their plaque and name added to the “Champions Tower” and returning it a year later. When they return it, they are presented with a smaller replica of the original trophy, which is also made by Garcia Rojals.  

This is a replica ‘plaque’ to celebrate Valentino Rossi’s first title with Yamaha in 2004. The team that Rossi is so iconic for his time with – everyone can recognise the Italian in that predominantly blue bike with white detailing. 

Valentino Rossi is, obviously, a legend of the sport. Infamous as no.46, when he retired – so did the number. Out of respect to Rossi’s contribution to MotoGP, the governing body decided that no one could use his number again. The Doctor would finish his riding career with 9 World Championships.
